Thank you for subscribing to The Baseball Buffet, a daily series from Now Taking the Field.

You should get a welcome email in the next 5–10 minutes. If you don’t, please check your promotions folder (or spam or junk folders), and if it’s there, please move it to your primary inbox so you don’t miss any issues.

The goal of The Baseball Buffet is to provide the best daily dose of relevant baseball info in a smart-brevity format: headers, short bullets, getting to the point, with quick analysis and insights. Think of it like what baseball fans of a certain age would look forward to in their morning newspaper’s sports section!

⚾ Every Issue Includes

Quick Highlights: game results with key player stats
Standings: where every team sits, division by division
On the Move: injuries, free-agent signings, and trades
League Leaders: a rotating statistics leaderboard each day
Daily Trivia: one question to test your baseball knowledge
On This Day: key moments from baseball history on this date
Birthday Boys: the key players who share today’s birthday
Today’s Games: top matchups, hitter watch, and pitcher watch
Quotes of the day: a line or two worth considering
Trivia Answer: the reveal from today’s question
Good Reads: baseball writing from around the web that I enjoyed

I’ll probably add more features in time, especially if I can find more time to dedicate to this. I hope one day to make my baseball writing my full-time work and earn my living from it!
