Issue #528
In starting to prepare for the 2026 season (and the occasional betting I might want to do), I decided to analyze which players most often do things in bunches. I focused on three simple stats:
Players who most often hit 2+ HRs in a game
Players who most often collect 3+ hits in a game
Pitchers who most often record 10+ strikeouts in a game
For the most part, this didn’t produce many big surprises of course. But there were a few interesting nuances and outliers in each case.
